Aroma of malts, caramel, a little sugar, dried fruits, herbal notes, chocolate. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bitter finish. Decent Doppelbock.

Bottle at Winterbierfestival, Gouda: Dark brown coloured brew thought it like an Doppelbock. With taste of roasted malts and caramel, hints of fruits,

33 cl. bottle @ Rick. Clear brown with a loose off-white head. Malty aroma with some light dark caramel. Sweet taste with a thin sweet finish. Quite one-dimensional and amateurish.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Caramel and butter in the aroma. Malty sweet caramelly flavor with hints of roast. Nutmeg, Somewhat spicy finish. Sticky mouthfeel. Sweet and a bit boring.

Rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr schokoladig, kräftig malzig, Karamell, fruchtig. Geschmack sehr röstmalzig, Karamell, würzig, scharf getreidig.

30/IV/14 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: XII/2014 (2014-440) Thanks to the Gooische Brouwers for the bottles!
Clear red to red brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of overripe banana, some dried fruits, caramel, sweet, bit smelly. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, lots of dark chocolate, some banana, mocha, bitter hops, little sourish, overripe fruits. Aftertaste: mocha, banana, sugary, overripe fruits, bitter touch, liquorish, spices, dry ending. Not a big fan.

330ml bottle. Clear, ruby red glowing, chestnut colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Slightly sweet-ish, dark malty aroma with a nuttily touch. Taste is dark malty with a nuttily touch, unpleasant bitter-roasty-metallic overtones.
