Bottle. Gold with a large white head that lasts pretty well. Aroma is grainy with chocolate and vanilla, some pepper. My concern after a whiff or two was that the chocolate would be too much, but not really. It fattens up the malt initially but isn’t that sweet, then doesn’t hang around as the finish dries out nicely with vanilla and some other spices amidst the moderate bitterness. Sometimes with novelty beers the first 100ml is fine but after that it becomes a chore. At the end 500ml I’m still liking this one.
