Bottle. Clear dark brown with a beige head. Gentle aroma of coffee, dark bread, light spices. Warming, but the smoothness of the finish wrestles the alcohol back under just as it threatens to poke out. Chewier than expected from the aroma, with substantial bread, some dried fruit, mocha. Bitterness is quite high for the style. Harmonious drop.
