From a 330ml bottle on 27/8/2016. Pours a clearish light golden with a small head. The nose is very citrussy, with some grassy and zesty notes. Take a sip an it’s pretty intense - lots of sweet and sour citrus (orange, lemon, lime), with plenty of spice and herbs. The hops are firm and very dry. The texture is slightly oily and the carbonation is average. Interesting and comes together pretty well.

Bottle, 10C. Hazy blond with a white head. Aroma of medicinal herbal lemon, oranges, dry citrus leaves, some crackery dough. Fairly light bodied with moderate carbonation. Fruity but dry all the way with a very dry and bitter finish. A great array of citrus flavours - zest, flowers and leaves of various fruit - with mostly complementary herb and spice notes (galangal, lemongrass, white pepper, coriander leaf, dill). It is as described but I found it overbearing (as Sorachi Ace often is) and I wanted something of this strength to be more inviting. I like that Feral are still a bit feral.
