From bottle at Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Funky and dry with saison yeast, light hoppy, funky, grapey notes. Light but pretty complex 'Table Saison', ace stuff.

These workers must be pretty well paid. Bottle. Pale gold with a white head that settles to a cm in short order. Aroma of fruity Brett (not funky at all) - nectarines, lemon pudding, citrus blossoms, crackers, hard spices. 7-8 Very dry with crackery dough, ghosts of stone fruit, hay. Quite bitter and very dry indeed at the end leaving mild spices and citrus blossoms. Started at the top of recommended temperature range of 4-6C and it seemed a bit austere (and a bit fizzy). Around 9C a little more fruit - some apricot as well as white nectarines - came out and the whole thing was more welcome as well as quenching.
