Almost black with a tan head that fades quickly to a good coat. Aroma of roasted malt, blackberries, some molasses, weeds. Smells like it’s going to be a bit on the thin side. But it’s only a little so and very smooth with lowish carbonation. Heavy roast, some burnt and rubbery notes. Light berries, some coffee, grass /weeds. Dries out with decent bitterness at the end. Underwhelming.

On tap at 4 Pines, pours black with a deep reddish hue and a small tan head. Aroma brings out a pretty light note of dark fruits, not much else. Flavour brings out lots of weird dark fruitiness, some roast, and a spicy toasted malt finish. Haphazardly thrown together, needs some work.
