Bottle. Clear golden ale with a medium white head. A malty aroma. Flavor is balanced, not to sweet malt and not so much more. A straight forward pale and balanced ale that’s OK, but soon forgotten.

Bottled at the Belgian Embassy in Oslo. A clear, golden beer with an off-white head. The nose is too grainy, yet it is balanced. The flavor is grassy at start, with hay and grains, but for once it is in a quite pleasant way. Medium body. A boring beer. Rating: 5-3-5-3-11-2.7 (070301)

Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body with an off-white head. The nose is fruity, more Belgian than British, with banana, some citrus and spices, as well as some yeast. A grainy note as well. The flavor is much the same, but more on the grainy and malty side. A bit thin in the mouth, with Belgian fruityness and spices. Medium body. Nice fruity finish with a grainy touch. A bit on the grainy side, but still refreshing and quaffable. (080504)

Draught Fully clear copper-gold, very fine dense yellowish head, leaving classical lace. A strange nose with cooked veggies from the mussel pot; overlying more habitual sweet-malty notes. Mossy, too. Rather sweet, even portlike flavour (for a young blond beer!) but fading away fast, leaving a very neutral to sweet malt flavour. Precious little specific aroma’s, even when (again!) the cold isn’t helping. Light to medium bodied, quite slick. Too fade for my preferences.
