Firm flowery hopbitter flavor. Light flowery aroma with a touch of caramel. Nice one!

Bottle found in a shop , nearly next to the van eecke beer with the same name. I wonder if they are somehow related??? Pours clear blonde, small white head. Almost looks like a lager. Smell is sweet, crispy. Taste is mildly bitter. Dry, bit dusty malts ( this was best before 2014 so could be due to age, but the dusty taste is rather mild, so still very ok for those who like it rather fresh ) crispy. Ok beer, actually. Perhaps a bit on the sweet side for what it is. But its ok

Blonde session beer made for the Livinusfeesten of Sint-Lievens-Esse of 2007, which take place every 50 years (the one but last time they took place, Van Den Bossche created their Pater Lieven Bruin for the occasion, by the way). Pale malts, restrained fruity yeastiness and limited hop bitterness in the finish, but very drinkable; apparently intended as a top-fermented counterpart of pale lager.

Thin blond beer with an ordinary taste of yeast, malt and aroma hops. Very watery, like a pilsjes.

Bottle shared at Garbage Night II - London. Big thanks to Fergus for this bruiser. Pours clear yellow with lots of pale floaties. Pretty eatery on the nose, plenty of dough, faint tangy lemon. Medium sweet flavor with lots more doughy malts, more lemon, some meringue. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary, doughy white bread finish, some Belgian yeast, mild straw. Tasty enough.
