Bottle. Clear amber with a rim and island white head (soon nothing) - the sediment I tip out is bright pink. Aroma is funky, with cherries, vanilla, sour/ crackery grape "pizza". Medium bodied, diluted still-developing kefir-like texture with lowish carbonation. Memories of cherries like an older krieken lambic with stones and almonds, rosewater, pickling (!) spices. The aroma was quite funky with no real suggestion of sourness, but the taste has modest but persistent sourness yet little funk apart from some strange spice notes towards the end. Almost a botrytis wine aftertaste with almost none of the sweetness. Yeah, pretty amazing.
