Apparently, Adam was pretty disappointed when the serpent offered him an apple. And we don’t blame him. This Forbidden Fruit is dark red, softly sweet, caressing and full in the mouth. It is brewed with roasted malt and hops, giving it a typical herbal plant aroma. By the way, it’s not forbidden to have a taste.

330ml bottle from Belgium in a Box - Thick white head on a cloudy old gold body, a citrus aroma, bit malty. Taste is clean, a bit of spice in a hoppy bite with a kick of alcohol at the end.

Orangebrun klar med høyt beige skum. Lukter røde frukter og noe røkt. Smaker søtlig fruktig, noe pepper. Alkoholen kjennes søt og varm i avslutningen.

Hazy dark amber to copper colour, nice one finger foamy tan head, reduces slowly to a lasting foamy layer. Sweet malty aroma, dark fruit, syrup, candy sugar, yeast, citrus. Taste quite sweet in a fruity way, spicy, alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; sweet finish with light bitterness, hint of spices and some alcohol, good.

300ml bottle. Hazy dark amber colour. Very long lasting light brown head. Fruity with hints of orange and spicy aroma. Taste was also fruity and spicy, with caramel malt and wheat. Sweet smooth finish. Good stuff. March 2015.

Troebel bruin bier met schuim. Smaak is kruidig en zoet, kaneel, fruit, banaan en kruidnagel. Erg lekker, zeker tijdens koudere momenten. Eén van mijn favorieten, smaak blijft helaas niet echt lang hangen.

0,33L bottle (from Wine of Galilee), BB 06.02.16. Pours dark amber-copper with light brown head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is sweet, dark fruits, caramel. Flavor is sweet, dark fruits, caramel, alcohol, yeast, spices, malt, and some bitterness. Finish is dry bitter with some alcohol. Overall: ok.

Bottle. Deep amber color with huge white head. Sweet malty aroma with candies, red fruits, caramel, Belgian yeast. Sweet malty taste with candies, coriander, honey, raisins. Good.
