The Citra Bomb is a single hop pale ale. This one showcases the Citra hop, one that can most definitely stand on its own, basking in its own glory. Look for tropical fruit flavours and aromas. It’s a balanced, pale ale, perfect for summer.

Appearance: this is an unfiltered beer so some haze and hop particles will likely be visible in pour.

Aroma: Tropical fruit.

Flavour: Like an US Pale Ale in flavour and mouthfeel but hopped like an IPA.

Malts: Ale, Vienna, Redback.
Hops: Citra (kettle, whirlpool and dry hop)

Bottle. Very clear pale amber with a large white head that fades to a coat. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon blossoms, lime, a little pine, slight toast. Light bodied, just a little oily. Very clean. Neutral malt is supporting and plainly sweet. Lots of lime, some grapefruit. Quite bitter at the end. It does what it says: show off Citra. But I’m still drinking it and I’ve nearly forgotten it already.
