Pours gold with a large head.Nose shows pear and apple notes, soft spicy phenols, sweet light malt and some confectionery.Flavours include more sweet light malt, some booze, Belgian yeast notes. A little too boozy.

Bottle. Deep gold with a white head that fades to a coat. Dough, oranges, grapes (with both grass clippings and tinned peach overtones), white pepper. Some (finger?) lime and minerals (Banana? No - who thinks banana is Tripelish?) The taste follows - there’s a harmonious combination of fruit, dough and spices, with a fresh tropical/ grassy sauv blanc note that’s not overdone. Peppery and moderately bitter at the end - I would have liked it a little drier. But this is very nice indeed. Not for the first time I’m impressed by Moa’s newfangled touch remaining just a touch.
