Bottle. Pale golden amber with a dense white head. Aroma is a bit meek with biscuit, pears, vague citrus, pepper. BB 6/16 but seems a little tired... but -- a swig and the citrus is more grapefruity, the malt is sweet but more hay than biscuit. Helped along by a dry finish thatβs moderately bitter and somewhat peppery. OK.

From a 330ml bottle on 14/11/2011. Pours a pale golden with a decent head which disappears fast. Has a light fruity aroma (a touch of passionfruit). A mild fruitiness also presents in the flavour, along with some subtle hops, but everything is so subdued that the experience is a bit underwhelming. The body is a bit thin and watery. Might be a decent APA if the flavour dial was turned up a couple of notches.

Pours golden with a very large head.Aroma is very English, with plenty of caramel and toffee. There is some light floral hops, but its nothing compared to the malt.Flavours show similar malt characteristics but with a hint of grainy bread as well. Finishes with a light bitterness.Body is a bit watery.
