Bottle. When it said Belgian Red on the bottle, I was expecting Flemish Red, but nuh. Reddish amber with a cream head that retreats to the rim after a time. Aroma is earthy, spicy and bready with some dried and stewed fruit, caramelized banana. 7+ Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Earthy toasted malt sweet and fruity - raisins, dried banana, apples - with lots of spices - mace, pepper - at the end. Hard to believe it’s 8.1%. At the end it’s just dry and bitter enough to lift away the richness and make it more swiggable that it ought to be. Vibrant fruit and spices which I’d guess will fade quickly. Rollicking.
