Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

From a 330ml bottle on 27/11/2016 (shared by Butz, with thanks). Pours a slightly cloudy amber with a biggish head. Has a pleasant mild fruity, hoppy nose. In the mouth, it’s got nice sweet, stone fruit flavours, with some caramel biscuit malt. The hops are moderate to firm, Medium bodied with average carbonation. A very solid and enjoyable red ale.

Pours amber with a quickly fading head.Nose shows caramel and a little fruit and piny hops. Very malty.Similar flavours, heaps of malt, quite syrupy. A fair bit of piny and resinous hops.

Bottle. Slightly hazy amber with an inch of off white head that lasts well. Aroma of vague tropical fruit, toffee, some floral and peppery notes. Smooth texture with lowish carbonation. Sweet caramel, some peach, murky tropical fruit, gentle bitterness with some peppery at the still rather sweet end. Pleasant enough, but not really my sort of thing.
