Bottle, 12C. Clear amber with an off-white head. Funky aroma of damp hay, lemon, apricots, sour plums. Full bodied, warming, medium to low carbonation. Sweet and almost jammily fruity with both brooding and zingy funk notes. Leans a fair bit towards dry at the woody and a little spicy at the end. Feels quite rich with a finish that lifts it away at the end leaving fruity, funky, spicy oaky things to linger. Clearly builds on a few of their recent beers. All ducks in a row for this one.
