Bottle from Safeway Seattle
Hazy golden color with small head. It’s a bit piney and malty, quite solid, with light fruity esters in the final. Not too complicated, but good.

On tap at the Brewpub in Portland. A bit hazy golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of bread, some citrus and something that reminded of pop corn. Medium bitter finish.

On tap. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has sweet grain and hay with a bit of grass bitterness underlying. Flavor combines crisp grains with grass and a bit of hay.

22 oz bottle poured. Still getting used to the new look of the Deschutes brand bottles. I didn’t even recognize this one when I picked it up. Lucky for me, I somehow hadn’t rated it anyway. Pours a clear golden color with a ton of foam head and lace. High carb. Not a whole lot of standout characteristics here, but the flavor is pretty good, and very easy to drink. I don’t actively seek them out much, but sometimes after a long day, a middle of the line pilsner is exactly what is needed. Not bad.

Clear golden with the right head. aroma is mostly Noble with a little bit of biscuit malt, I feel like there was slight mint also. Crispy body. Clean flavor with the earthy Noble hops and a very light background malt profile. Refreshing, crispy, clean Pilsner. Very good.
