Pours amber with a fading head.Nose shows sweet caramel and bready malt with faint floral hops in the background.Similar flavours, very English, some caramel and bready malt and cardboard notes. Little else.Carbonation is too high.

It’s the new world hops that give this beer its pleasant bitterness, and the sweet malts are not bad either, both on the tongue and in the nose. A nice sessionable ale. Squealer from Prince Wine Store Essendon.

Bottle. Golden amber with a white head. Aroma is earthy and peachy with some grapefruit and bitter orange. Light-bodied, lowish carbonation. Light spicy bread, much more citrus than suggested in the aroma. Bitterness is moderate but prominent in the dry finish. Solid refreshment.
