Bottled. Ambery brown colour with a mediumsized foamy off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, some nuts, mild toasted notes as well as some toffee and mild fudge. Flavour is very similar, but also has some slight floral and mild ripe fruity ntoes to it. Pleasant surprise.

This is what a brown ale should be, nutty, spicy, woody and with a nice kick. Aroma is brown ale on steroids, with plenty od alcohol warmth also evident. Despite the ABV kick, taste is smooth and woody, and a hint of molasses sweetness. Pours out clear dark brown with fast disappearing beige airy head. I hint of dry nutty flavor lingers.

Pours brown with a large fading head.Nose show nuttty malt, soft bready hints and a heap of chocolate.Similar flavours with some toasty notes too along with fruity yeast-driven characters and a faint metallic hint.Carbonation is overly high.

Bottle. Brown with a modest light beige head. Subtle chocolate and bread aroma, a touch of grape. Light bodied, lowish carbonation. Gentle caramel, chocolate, bread, slightly fruity. Bare hint of bitterness. Amiable but a tad meek - but that’s brown ale.
