Bottle. Gold with a fading white head. Aroma of hay, spices, a little peach, lemon. Lightish-bodied but mouthfilling, quite lively carbonation. Slightly sweet, quite fruity, firm lemony and spicy bitterness. Dry and a little astringent at the end. Solid drop, smashable with some class.

From a 500ml bottle on 1/10/2013. pours a cloudy straw colour with a small head. Has a slightly odd pungest, yeasty aroma with some citrus notes. Flavour wise, it’s a touch tart with lemon, a fair bit of apple cider, and a bit of cordial in the mix. Has a fullish body and modest carbonation. I’m not sure why this has been classified as a pale lager, though I’m not sure what it’s meant to be. Just kinda weird, and doesn’t really work for me.
