Kuparinruskea, hieman punertava kirkas olut pienellä, hieman pitsiä jättävällä vaahdolla. Tuoksu mieto, yrttistä humalointia ja hieman karamellia. Maku hieman karamellisen maltainen, loppupuoleltaa toisaalta hieman humalan katkeroittama, mutta samalla myös turhan vetinen. Aika kevyt suutuntuma.

(Draught at Oak Barrel, Helsinki Airport, 28 April 2016) Golden amber colour with creamy, white head. Malty nose with toast, apricots and orange peel. Malty taste with notes of toast, apricots and a balanced resiny bitterness in the finish. Medium body, fairly dry. Tasty and well balanced, but hardly exciting. Quite enjoyable.

Orange to copper in colour. Aroma is very toasted and malty with a touch of matchstick. Fruity and bitter. A bit too gassy.

Bottle at Villi Wäinö, Helsinki. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is caramel malt, hop. The flavour is medium bitter, with a crisp refreshing hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A pretty decent English bitter. Served a little on the cold side but it was a hot summer day, so no complaints from me!

500ml bottle, thanks to djoeye for sharing. Clear amber coloured body under a near-white head, leaving spotty lacing behind. Caramel and a little ale fruitiness on the nose. Malt-fruity flavours of caramel, butter end dried fruits. Discreet herbal hoppy ending. Medium bodied. Quite nice at least compared to other beers this evening (Tromsø 19.05.2014).

500 ml bottle from Alepa @ Helsinki Vantaa Airport. Pours light copper with a nice head. Head dissipates soon into small lacing. Aroma is quite fruity and herbal hops are coming through too. Something soapy. Taste is diluted pear juice, bitter hops and some malty candy sweetness. Aftertaste is not very intensive, some hop bitterness lingering around. Overall not bad, body is perhaps weaker than I would have liked - but I guess the reason is in Finnish alcohol laws that allow only beers up to 4,7% to be sold in normal supermarkets.

Appearance: Clear deep brownish color with a finger thick off white head. Some lacing.
Aroma: A bit sweet malty and fruity with some mild hoppy notes.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet and a mild bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Malty, mild hoppy and a fine fruity background.
Overall impression: Felt a little bit plain. Still nice and easy drinkable.
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with oh6gdx.
