Bottle, 12C. Dark red with an inch of pale beige head that hangs around well. Aroma of raisins, prunes, toffee, spice bread. Sweet, bready and quite rich with lots of dried fruit. No overt booze, which for me is a slight shame in this sort of thing. Dries out a tad quickly with wood, hard spices and quite firm bitterness at the end.
