Bottled, from Slowbeer, Melbourne. Cloudy dark brown, small head. Earthy nutty nose. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded spritzy mouthfeel, Caramel and nuts, some chocolate, Low bitterness.

Pours black with a small fading head.Nose shows hazelnut liqueur, cocoa, chocolate essence and roasted malt.Similar bittersweet flavours, with a prominent nutty note amongst cocoa, almost and roasted malt.Carbonation seems a bit excessive.

Bottle. Dark brown with a light tan head that lasts OK. Roasty aroma with coffee, nuts and a spicy earthiness that’s evidently the wattleseed. Quite silky, a little thinner than I’d have guessed. Taste is slightly cola nut sweet with coffee, moderate roasted flavours, lingering earthy and nuttiness. Pleasant, quite interesting.
