Bottle, 12C. Clear copper with a pale beige head that laces nicely. Aroma of cinnamon, butterscotch, mace, flowers. Surprisingly creamy texture with lowish carbonation - really not that syrupy. Sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. Toffee, light butterscotch, touch of dried fruit. Spices less prominent than in the aroma. Dries out a little and there is enough bitterness to lighten. Gentle vanilla-scented oak. Delightful and surprisingly delicate.

Pours ruby/copper with a fading off-white head.Great aroma of mixed spices (including nutmeg), booze, lovely caramel and dried fruit. Tempting.More spices as flavours, mixing in with sweet bready malt and a whack of booze. Feels like it should have more golden syrup and brown sugar notes, dubbel style.Carbonation seems a little excessive.
