Bottle, 13C. Amber with a cm of white head that fades to a coat. Aroma of honey, hay, grass, leather, stringybark (vivid - like walking through them on a sunny winter mid-morning), cloves, pepper. Body is not that heavy, moderate carbonation, alcohol is not very obvious. Dominated by rather medicinal honey at first, with hay and spices coming through underneath. A tad more sweetness would have been welcome. Complex and interesting, but not quite as harmonious as some other Red Duck offerings.

Pours hazy dark amber with a large, fading head.Nose shows honey, woody notes, caramel, stringybark, spicy phenols, soft booze. Interesting.Duller flavours. Some honey, mead notes, alcohol and little else.Carbonation is too high.
