Rojiza parda, color de red ale. Escasa espuma y fuerte aroma a malta. Sabrosa en boca, bastante carbonica. Cafe, frutas rojas y sobre todo malta tostada. Equilibrada y agradable.

500ml bottle. Pours dark amber with a small white head. Sweet aroma of caramel and vanilla. Taste is toffee with hoppy bitterness.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy rich amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and hops, with notes of yeast and fruit. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish notes of fruit and malt and some minor estery and metallic touches. Lively carbonation. Bitter aftertaste. Okay but nothing very impressive.

50 cl. bottle from Fakta discounter. Dark, copper colour with a dense, white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, nuts, toasted notes, fruity notes, some butterscotch. Subtle bitterness. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with fruity hints and caramel malts. Some grasses adds bitterness. Okay, somewhat old fashioned.

0.5L bottle from Danish supermarket. Pours clear dark amber with a creamy, off-white to yellow head that recedes into a thin layer and leaves a decent lacing on the glass. The aroma has a lot of malts, first with with toffee, caramel, then borderline artificial sweeteners. Slightly fruity too. The taste has a hint of astringency first, followed by a very deep sweetness. A slight bitter aftertaste kicks in after some time. The palate is very smooth with a long bitter-sweet after taste. Very pleasant.

Gifted bottle. Dark amber colour, small white head that lasted. A sweet aroma with hints of malts, and caramel. Taste similar. Not a bad beer from Greene King.

Amber colour, good lacing. Aroma of caramel, bisquits, citrus, grass. Medium body. Bittersweet taste. Nice balance. Citrus & grass in ending. Not so impressive as some Greene King beer stil of high standard, too.

Classic and renowned English bitter, vintage tasting at 26 years of age; warm, pretty amber colour, head formation limited because of age, oxidized aroma with nutty malts, dried fruits and something woody; taste of nutty malts, restrained fruitiness, relatively complex despite its age, again that woodiness in the finish, thin mouthfeel. I don’t think it is worthwile keeping this in your cellar for such a long time and I’ve been planning to taste it fresh for years, but haven’t arrived at that yet.

Burk från SB. Mörkt kopparfärgad klar vätska med fingertjockt och krämigt skum. Lite vattnig arom samt svag doft av kola och karamell. Blommig humlebeska och så mer karamell i smaken. Mjuk munkänsla.
