Appearance is a very clear amber, an off-white foamy head which clings to the glass. Aroma- lots of raisin, caramel, toffee, malts, a bit of wheat. Taste- smooth, an understated bitterness, lots of caramel, big maltiness, quite a long finish with chewy toffee and some dark fruits in the background. Nice.

Dark amber colour, medium head that disappears quickly, virtually no lacing. Aroma: floral, bread, caramel, herbs, alcohol. Light bitterness, light sweetness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Good.

Can from Systembolaget. Clear copper with a medium head. Aroma and taste of malt, caramel, grass and fruit. Also some medicine. The finish was on the bitter side. A bit boring to be honest.

500ml bottle - Thought I’d done this one, but obviously slipped under the radar. Pours pale brown with low beige head. Good lacing. Aroma is of malt, toffee, caramel and fruits. Taste is of malt, slight bitterness, fruits, slight mineral notes. Fairly flat on the finish, not much after taste. A lot better than I feared.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a clear malty copper colored body with a film of a head just sitting on the top of the body, barely any lacing.
The smell had sweet English malts, \"soapiness\" more or less to some drinkers.
The taste was sweet through the malts, that English malty aftertaste, sticky sweet finish.
On the palate, it sat a light to medium in body and was fairly sessionable. Carbonation is standard for the style leading to a decent smooth sort of coating of the mouth and tongue
Overall, this is a good beer for the style, and good beer to me, now where’s my fish and chips.

Pours a clear coppery color with a hefty and quite solid just off-white head, The aroma is quite weak and pretty neutral, only small hopy are detectable. The taste starts sweetish and fruity and following this after same time there is a pleasant bitter taste. The finish is nicely bitter with that feeling staying with you for some time. Very nice and very drinkable. Thumbs up.
