Pours black with a large head.Nose shows heavy roast with some coffee and cocoa notes.Flavours include lots of dry roast, some sweet bready malt and soft coffee but then finishes rather weakly with almost no bitterness. Easy-drinking though.Body feels a bit watery.

Bottle, 13C. Black with a tan head that’s 80% of the glass and gradually collapses to a fat coat. Mocha, grass, fudge, a few whiffs of alcohol. Silky mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. Sweet with mocha and dark berries, caramel. No real rumbling bass note. Oranges creep up as bitterness asserts itself. Slightly spicy at the end too. Cuddly, open flavours, nice balance.
