Pours murky brown/amber with a large, lasting head.Nose shows doughy wheat, hefty malt and caramel, and soft spicy hops.Flavours are note quite on the same level, with distracting doughy yeast, soft cider notes, and sharp, solvent-like alcohol. There’s some sweet malt but the rest is fairly off-putting.Way too much carbonation.

Bottle. Amber with an inch of white head. Aroma of toffee, bread, peach, kaffir lime, herbs. Oily, with gentle carbonation. Earthy, wheaty bread, toffee, sweet citrus and medium sherry with green peppercorns and herbs. Bitterness is brooding. Alcohol is well-integrated, so much so that you wonder what this offers that it couldn’t at 7%.
