Bottled from Dan Murphy’s, Eltham (Melbourne). On July 28, 2013.Clear golden color, white head. Malty, grainy, bitter taste. Malty, grainy aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Sweet, fruity scent.

Bottle. Slightly hazy gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma of oranges, apricots, dough, some tropical fruit notes. Sweet and fruity with sweet citrus and stone fruits. A little too much carbonation. Less than balancing bitterness, but citrus lingers. OK, but cries out for more bitterness.

This beer flatters to deceive - it’s quite a nice nose with plenty of malt and sweet fruit but the taste is quite bland. Stew41 was on the money with the comparison to Asahi Super Dry - the drinking was kind of like licking cardboard. And where are the hops?

Bottle in Perth, WA. Deep gold with a decent, white head. Belgian yeasts, some apricot and orange, leading to a slightly bitter finish. Ok.
