Pours amber with a lasting head.Nose shows caramel, nutty malt and soft minty and floral hops. A bit weird, not exactly hoppy.Flavours include nutty, toasty and almost peated (???) malt alongside some very soft spicy hops and a bit of booze.Could use more carbonation.Seems more like an altbier with peated malt than an IPA....

Bottle, 10C. Golden amber with a white head that fades a bit but lasts. A bit hazy but pretty. Aroma of biscuit, orange marmalade, apricots. Creamy, alive texture is a reminder of how much good bottle conditioning can add. Sweet caramel and biscuit, some stone fruit, creeping bitterness with oranges and flowers. Good stuff, right up my street. Hope these folks are real Taswegians or thereβll be trouble over that label.
