Dull brown with a small beige head that soon vanishes. I’ve cleared prettier drains. Aroma of spiced gingerbread, pine, rum. Syrupy. Sweet with toffee, treacly gingerbread, but spice (ginger, mace) and pine bitter finish more than cleans up the sweetness. Spicy bitterness lingers. Appropriate for those pretending it’s not summer at Christmastime.
