2007 bottle. Clear gold with white mousse that fades to a half centimetre. High, fine bead. Aroma of mellow apples, some vanilla. Carbonated mouthfeel. Quite mellow apples with a tiny hint of sweetness before a very dry finish with a little pepper. Tannins are drying but well integrated. Alcohol less obvious than other Thorogoods products I’ve tried.
