From a 500ml bottle on 4/7/2011. Pours a clear dark golden, with little head. Has a slight sweet, floral malt aroma. Taste wise, it’s fairly sweet, with caramel and bready malts. Has a slightly bitter finish. Not terrible but entirely forgettable.

Bottle. Clear orangey golden with little head. Pleasant slightly floral hoppy aroma. Medium body, light carbonation. Sweet fruit and floral hoppiness in foretaste moving through sweet maltiness to a pleasant finish with some bitterness. A good beer.

Pours clear amber with a small head.Nose is pretty faint, shows some nutty and caramel malt.Flavours are very similar, with toasty, nutty malt, hints of melanoidins, no bitterness. Pretty tame, but not bad.Could do with some more carbonation.

Bottle. Clear orangey amber with a large off-white head that fades rapidly. Aroma of light toffee, flowers, mild spices. Taste is sweet with lots of toasted caramel and nuts, vanilla, drying but less than balancing bitterness. Some metal, touch of stone fruit orchards. Perhaps less rich toffee and nicer hops than typical for the style, but much of a style I’ve yet to find much charm in.
