Strong fruity aroma, some sour notes reminded me of lambic. Hazy brown color, long medium off-white head. High sweetness and low bitterness, hints of alcohol. Medium to full body, creamy texture.

Butelka 330ml z datą do 09.02.2022. BARWA: ciemno miedziane, klarowne. PIANA: koloru przybrudzonej bieli, średnia drobno pęcherzykowa, błyskawicznie znika jak na coli, lacing brak. AROMAT: świetny, bardzo złożona słodka słodowość ( głównie ciemne owoce- śliwka, rodzynki, figi) do tego przejrzały już prawie brązowy banana, nuty gumy balonowej, wanilią w tyle skórka od chleba. Alkohol niewyczuwalny. SMAK: podobnie jak w aromacie ale wszystko kontruje niska goryczka wspomagana przyjemnym rozgrzewajacym alkoholem i delikatnie za wysokim wysyceniem (po otwarciu butelki piana powoli wychodziła, po nalaniu 100ml zamykałem korkiem - przy otwieraniu strzeliło jak wino musujące ( tzw. szampan;), nie można powiedzieć że mamy do czynienia z ulepkiem, jest kontra. Pełne, wyklejające, degustacyjne, pijalne. Piwo bardzo dobre w stylu, ale jakoś bardziej mi podszedł eisbock z Pinty.

Baffled to find I've not rated this. Nose is sweet malt, marzipan, almond, vanilla, caramel, banana. Taste is banana, marzipan, exceptionally sweet, fondant, bubblegum, malt, pear drops, raisin, plum, cherry, cough drops, herbal, slight pepper. Spice and wheat in the prevents it being cloying despite the sweetness. Thick mouthfeel. Despite it being very, very sweet and not something I'd drink regularly it really works as a fireside drink for me.

Bottle from Damián Beer and ale. ...and they say weizen beers are boring. Now this is one showing opposite. Yes, its origins are quite visible, especially in banana aroma. But taste offers more than that. Bits of banana remain. But they are not alone. Plum, raisins and more, all this glued together with warming alcohol. Very nice.

Voici une Eisbock qui réchauffe. Tout d’abord par son titrage alcoolique à 12 % Abv (logique me direz-vous pour une bière du genre, et encore faible titrage par rapport à d’autres de ses congénères) mais également par des arômes liquoreux, chauds, complexes et généreux tournant autour moût de raisin rouge, des fruits confits, du pruneau, de grenade, d’épices. A boire lentement et tranquillement. L’équilibre également est plutôt bien trouvé. L’alcool se ressent peu avec un sucre bien présent sans lourdeur. L’amertume est peu poussée avec un IBU de 15, mais une petite acidité permet de procurer une sensation de fraîcheur salvatrice. En verre, rien d’extraordinaire, brun opaque avec une mousse blanc cassée à peine présente. Le nez est surprenant, on y retrouve arôme de moût de raisin rouge et de sirop de grenadine. A l’attaque, c’est la fraîcheur procurée par une petite acidité qui surprend. Mais heureusement qu’elle est présente, car sinon le sucre donnerait une impression de lourdeur plus poussée sinon. Arômes de pruneaux et d’épices prédominent alors. La seconde bouche monte en intensité et en complexité sur un équilibre ténu mais tenu. Le côté liquoreux s’exprime davantage. L’arrière bouche, moyennement ample est quant à elle principalement sur des arômes liquoreux et de fruits confits. La troisième bouche est dans la continuité de la seconde, légèrement plus fraîche néanmoins. Le final, très long, présente une belle complexité avec des arômes vineux mais également de fruits confits et de pruneaux. Comme l’acidité est moins marquée, la bière prend de plus davantage d’ampleur. On prend son temps, on savoure.

Pours hazy dark brown/amber with a foamy, off-white head. The intense aroma contains malt, caramel, spices, hops, some wheat, lots of fruit (apples & pears, bit of banana), liquor, bread, some chocolate. It tastes medium malty and chocolatey sweet and light spicy/hoppy bitter with fruity notes. The finish is spicy, a bit dry, with warming alcohol. Full body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. A top-notch winter warmer.
