Magie und schwarze Seele: „Aventinus Eisbock“ – der mahagonifarbene, fast schwarze Eisbock für sinnlichen Genuss im Cognacschwenker. Nach spezieller Rezeptur eisgereift, mit weichem, elegantem Körper, dabei doch kräftig-intensiv verführt diese Schneider Spezialität schon beim allerersten Schluck: Geheimnisvoll offenbaren sich würzige Pflaumen-, Bananen- und Nelkenaromen mit einem Hauch von Bittermandel und Marzipan – einfach magisch. Und besonders verführerisch auch als Digestif. Oder zu Crepes, dunklen Schokoladen, Tiramisu und vollreifem Parmesan.
Aventinus, the Wheat Doppelbock of Bavaria, has always been known to be the most intense and complex wheat beer in the world. This was the case for the past sixty years, but not anymore... Up until the 1940’s, Aventinus was shipped all over Bavaria in containers lacking temperature control. Consequently, the precious drink partially froze during transportation. Unaware that the brew was concentrated by the separation of water from the liquid. People were baffled by this unique version of Aventinus. By chance, the first Aventinus Eisbock was created. Well aware of this story, Hans Peter Drexler, brewmaster of the Schneider brewery, decided to recreate this classic "mistake" in a modern controlled facility. Thus, the Aventinus Eisbock is reborn sixty years later ... Prost!

Aus der Flasche (bbe 15.03.2026) im 2021-10 getrunken. Dieser dunkelbraune Bock überrascht in der Nase mit einer deutlichen geräucherten Bananennote. Am Gaumen eine deutliche Hefe udn Weizennoten mit einer deutlichen, aber balancierten Süße. Auhc hier die geräucherte Banane. Der Alkohol ist sehr gut eingebunden und die Körper wirkt recht ausgeglichen. Im Abgang bleibt eine feine Bitterkeit von Grapefruitschalen. Ein spannendes Bier wo man einige Aromen entdecken kann!

On tap at Gold Star Beer Counter. Pours ruby brown. Raisin, chocolate, plum, port, rich port, blackcurrant, wild tart blackcurrant, raspberry, biscuit, red grape. Medium body. Very good.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma cappuccino fine persistente, colore marrone intenso velato, al naso è intensa caramello banana malto affumicato frutta matura uvetta sotto spirito, in bocca caramello banana miele uvetta sotto spirito e in fine prepotente chiodi di garofano, corpo strutturato, alcool ben in evidenza, carbonazione leggera, oily, dolce con amaro accentuato. Complessa intensa ed equilibrata. Nonostante i 12,0% non stanca. Ottima a fine bottiglia l’ho capita. Una bomba! La mia prima dello stile. c. Fatti una birra 30.04.21

330ml bottle, online from Beers of Europe. Pours brown with a red hue, off-white cap. Sour fruit, burnt caramel, toffee, dried fruits, light banana esters, hugely boozy. Moderate to heavy sweet. Medium body with moderate to frothy carbonation. Definitely a sipper!

Bottle, 0.33l. Murky, muddy brown/amber pour, lots of yeast floating in the glass. One finger creamy beige head. Medium lasting, good head retention, minimal lacing on the glass. Strong malty nose, toasted caramel, dried fruits, hints of wine-like notes. Quite interesting. Full body, soft carbonation. Soft mouthfeel and texture, creamy, smooth, chewy. Mouthful of goodness. Sweet taste with subtle boozy bitterness. Huge malty aroma, toasted caramel and toffee, bready notes. Ripe dark fruits, grapes, plums, liquorice. Molasses, cinnamon. Sugary, sticky, syrupy. Notable alcohol presence, lingering burn, nicely warming. Long lasting finish, sweet and boozy. Rich and tasty, tastes similar to barley wine. Very good.

0,33 bottle. Beautiful full-bodied liquid with the color of dried plums. Huge, dense, sticky, with a beautiful, creamy head. Aroma: opens with a little yeast, as the head goes down and warms up, dried fruit, clove-plum background + yeasty fruity wheat beer aroma mixes. The taste is fantastic too! Concentrated plum jam, sweet, freshly carbonated, very, very seriously full-bodied. Sugary, but without added sugar - unlike its Belgian comrades. Of course, the alcohol still comes to the fore. It is recommended to drink it slowly, sipping it warmer. An outstanding, first-class dessert beer!!! Beautiful, half a finger of brownish-white head is visible throughout. Increasingly complex flavors. Recommended for Belgian lovers too, because yes: you can do the same things in bottom-fermented beers as they know how... Unbelievably good beer!

Aroma: pici élesztővel nyit, ahogy a hab lejjebb megy, és melegszik, aszalt gyümölcsös, szegfűszeges-szilvás háttér+élesztős gyümölcsös búzasör illat keveredik. Fantasztikus az íze is! Tömény szilvalekvár, édeskés, frissen szénsavas, nagyon-nagyon komolyan testes. Cukros, de hozzáadott cukor nélkül - nem úgy mint belga bajtársai. Persze az alkohol azért elő-elő jön. Lassan, egyre melegebben kortyolgatva ajnálatos inni. Kiemelkedő, első osztályú desszert sör!!! Gyönyörű, fél ujjnyi barnásfehér hab végig látható. Egyre komplexebb ízek. Belga kedvelőknek is ajánlott, mert igen: alsó erjesztésű sörben is lehet olyat csinálni, mint amiket ők tudnak... Hihetetlen jó sör!

Rubinbrun vätska med lågt och tunt skumlock. Tydliga aromer av mörkt bröd, typ kavring och lite sultanrussin. Rejäl maltkropp med mycket fyllig munkänsla. Mer russin och mörkt bröd. Ordentligt eldig och lång eftersmak.
