Bottle. Clear toffee-brown with an inch of puffy white head. Smells of apples, toffee and flowers. Thinnish texture with way too much carbonation - swirling got the head up to a 2 inches and the mouthfeel improved. Good, mostly old world bitterness plus hints of grapefruit with pears, toffee and spices. Not very English-tasting. Pretty good.

Bottled. A lightly hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of citrus, hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, and caramel, and lighter notes of citrus and hops, leading to a bitter citrusy finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy, dark amber golden with an off-white head. Aroma is standard Bitter fare with some caramel and some nuts. Medium body with light caramel and nut accents. The finish is dry without any greater hop presence. 270108
