Pours amber with a large lasting head.Nose shows plenty of biscuity, bready and nutty malt with subtle earthy and faintly spicy hops. Very nice, really appetising. Some of the malt transfers through as flavours but the bitterness is a little metallic. Still very enjoyable.Body is perhaps a little watery.Very pleased with this, especially considering how dissapointing many of their other beers were.

Bottle. Honey-coloured with an inch of off-white head. Lots of lacing. Nose is quite rich and fruity with some earth. Taste has some caramel sweetness and grainy lager sourness with solid drying bitterness. Neither oversweet nor over-rich. Fresh and highly gluggable.

From a 330ml bottle on 10/10/2010. The aroma is grassy and bready, with some toffee. The taste is mainly some sweetish malt with a touch of fruit. Has a nice long hoppy finish - definitely has more than a dash of pilsener like character to it. Noting that lagers are not designed to rock your world, this is very enjoyable for its style.
