Light amber with a small white head. A little caramel and fruit on the nose with just a touch of grass and even less of citrus. Taste is mild and sweet with a little finishing bitterness. OK but pretty bland. [very quick rerate, old score 2.5] It would have paid to read hear before drinking: this is much improved drunk at Australian lager temperatures (as jonno suggests below) . At about 7C it’s quite fruity and the finish is dryish. More a golden ale than an APA.

Bottle. Pale clear no head. Hoppy, slightly fruity aroma. Medium body, fizzy but pleasant. Flavour: mild light malt start moving to pleasant hoppyness that builds into a nice finish. Overall a decent fairly subtle pale ale.

Fruity light american style pale ale without the bitterness. A bit on the sweet and malty side too. A stepping stone beer into something else.

A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of straw, while the flavor is sweet and has its primary notes from straw and hops, and the body is thin. To me, this beer tastes more like a pilsener than a pale ale.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a clear, pilsener golden with a small, white head. Vaguely floral, hoppy nose. Light-bodied with dry, hoppy accents and a lightly hoppy, aromatic finish. Probably would be a nice session beer. Thanks to Highlandlad for this one. 150306

Hazy blond color. Aroma of fudge and hop resins, delicate. Quite thin body, with some unmalted cereals taste and a quite good bitterness. Not bad, but it could be better.

Bottled. Cloudy amber, rich head. Hoppy aroma including malon, oranhe and ash. Medium sweet with firm, fairly soft mouthfeel and medium bitterness. Undefined fruits dominates this aromatic beer. A typical Australian style American Pale Ale...
