The color is deep-amber, with a brownish scent of malt sweet. Foam is very small but sticks to the glass a bit. Viney, sweet, sugary and caramelized, and Golding hops come in the aftertaste. Its finish is already bitter, by the end it was very good. Complex flavors. When tasting a second bottle, the foam was a little more sticky and the color a shade darker! It tastes very good. Recommended!

A színe mély-borostyán,barnás illata malátás édeskés. Hab nagyon apró de picit azért tapad a pohárra. Szőlősen édeskés,cukros és karamelles, a Golding komló pedig az utóízben jön elő. Lecsengése már kesernyés, a végére nagyon jó lett. Komplex ízek. Második üveg kóstolásakor a hab picit még tapadósabb volt, a szín pedig egy árnyalattal sötétebb! Ízre nagyon jó, de vizes, és elég testetlen.*** harmadikra is jó, csak "vékony". Amúgy szeretem ezt a sört.

Boca 0,5L - kupljena u Spar Pleternica - nisam ljubitelj bittera ali ovaj je čak i korektan Edit, ... da, da i nakon 4 godine momak je i više nego korektan

Nose is very fruity, slight yeast. Taste is fruity, yeast, spice. Stale, acidic, sickly taste which seems to be in all wychwood brews is overpowering. Mouthfeel is sticky.

Aus der Flasche (Dia de los Muertos/Day of the Dead Limited Edition) im 2017-10 getrunken. Klassisches ESB mit sher runden Malz- und leichten Fruchtaromen. Der Körper ist kräftig ohne aber aufdringlich zu sein. Lecker!

Bottle from my local Tesco. Poured dark ruby brown with a nice sized creamy off-white head. Aroma of dark fruit, malt, toasting, nut, fruit cake and a touch of chocolate. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Full body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. First rating of the bottled version despite having it a number of times over previous years - first time for a while now and it is still a decent brew.

Ein Bier, das ich auch vor eingen Jahren ohne den Zusatz Ruby einmal getrunken habe und jetzt in einer LIDL-Bierbox für englisches Bier finde. Na dann auf ein neues: Früher hat mir das intensive Bier gut gefallen. Die rote Farbe ist auf jeden FAll ein HIngucker. Inzwischen muss ich aber sagen, dass es noch immer intensiv ist, aber sehr brutal und plump daherkommt. Es ist gleichzeitig süß und bitter und könnte insgesamt harmonischer sein.
