Bottle 0.25l at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Vintage 2018. Colour is black with very small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavours: Grain, coffee, honey, some spices nad roasted malts. Soft and great . Strange spices but honey fits well!
Yesterday! Not my favourite barrel for ageing but still a great beer with added time (in the oak) for maturity and plenty of oaky peppery tannins.

(Bottle, 0.25 l - 2018 vintage, at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, 20191115) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate, whisky and vanilla. Palate was full bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, vanilla, wood, whisky and bitterness. Aftertaste had dark chocolate, ash and bitterness. A tasty and balanced burnt brew with barrel notes.
More oaky and stingy woody than the OG Kaggen. Pretty nice old skool BA IS.
