Bottle. Black color with a creamy light beige head with medium lasting and nice lacing. Aroma is roasty, notes of caramel, licorice and coffee hints. Flavor is quite similar as aroma, dominated by roasted malts and black chocolate, notes of vanilla and burnt wood merged with coffee beans. Creamy and dense on palate. very drinkable in spite of the high ABV.

Bottle. Pours cloudy dark brown with stable tan head. Dark aroma of malt, caramel and dried fruit. Sweetish flavour of malt and caramel with roasty and fruity touches and notes of dark chocolate. Unobtrusive alcohol presence. Creamy mouthfeel. Sweetish aftertaste. Good.

Aroma of roast malt, booze and some dark chocolate. Finishes bitter and sweet with decent balance. Pours black with good head and lacing. A little bit of oak present, but not super evident. Thick body. A little lighter than many imperial stouts but good balance. Bottle thanks to SlovakSniper.

Mycket chokladsmak.

500ml bottle. Clear reddish darkest brown colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Dark malty aroma has hints of coffee, an oaky leather touch, maybe some woodruff. Taste is dry dark malty, hints of coffee, dark chocolate, subtle sweetness in the middle part with simultaneously upcoming hints of warming alcohol; very soft, silk palate.

Virkelig god. Litt overpowering, men det er ikke feil.

50 cl bottle @ HBF. Rated on 21.05.2010
Aroma has berries typical to danish ales, some roasted notes and coffee. Flavour has berries, coffee, some soy sauce, salty licorice and hints of coffee. The presence of berries ruin the show.

Bouteille 500ml.
