Bottle from a trade. Poured into a snifter. Pours black with a half finger of dark brown head. Aroma of sweet chocolate, bourbon, vanilla and oak. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Dark chocolate and chocolate pudding. Bourbon, vanilla and oak. Medium bodied with a creamy but surprisingly thin texture. Lively carbonation and a very long finish. Overall, very good. I would classify this as a winner.

750 from the Tin Bucket. Pours a pure black color with a medium beige head. A light oak and vanilla nose. The flavor is super sweet vanilla, bourbon, some bitter chocolates, coffee more oak. Quite nice. A slick palate.

Bottled at SBWF. Near black, small beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate. Sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Toffeeish chocolate, not much else. Fairly low bitterness. A candyish superficial beer, Southern Tier style.

Sample at SBWF 2013. Dark brown with a small head. This was a sweet one with a lot of chocolate. The taste reminded a lot of "chokladpudding". Also milk and some notes of vanilla. A dessert beer. I like it!

22oz bottle pours a translucent brown with some thin, beige head. Nose has a ton of mocha, cake, chocolate brownie, vanilla, brown sugar, coffee. Flavor is similar, mocha, vanilla, brown sugar, chocolate brownie ala mode. Slightly hot finish.

Bottle @ Steve’s house, courtesy of Steve. Thanks! Pours a dark brown appearance with a light brown head. Rich cocoa, dark chocolate, marshmallow, a bit woody aroma. Creamy chocolate, somewhat earthy, milk chocolate, a touch boozy, oaky, somewhat herbal flavor that finishes with a bit of vanilla and plenty of chocolate. Pretty good

22 oz. bottle, pours a black with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out melted milky chocolate, a little lactose, and more chocolate. Flavour brings out rich milky dark chocolate, not much else -- I don't really get any of the barrels or any other notes. This is one big, decadent chocolate bomb. Like a sweetened milky, dark chocolate bar melted into a beer. Milky body, with a strong chocolatey finish. No oak detectable anywhere on this, though it probably accentuates the flavours well. Excellent chocolate dessert beer.
