The sun is out and the season for lighter and crispier beer has started. This sour pilsner was fermented using our house lactobacillus culture and traditional bottom fermenting lager yeast strain. Light body and thirst-quenching sourness goes extremely well with dry hops and spices that were used after the fermentation. As usual – everything that goes into our beer is as natural as it can be. We used Citra hops to bring out some fruitiness and hand peeled orange zest for deeper citrus flavor.

Draft. A hazy yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of lemons, straw, and malt. The flavor is a bit sour with notes of lemons, straw, and malt, leading to a tart finish.

Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are lactose acid, malt, grass, straw, citrus and hops. Light sour finish.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, golden colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity hoppy and fruity yeasty, slightly floral hoppy aroma, notes of gooseberry, some quince, apricot, a touch of elderflower. Taste is tart, fruity, slightly grassy and floral hoppy, hints of unripe gooseberry, some quince, elderflower, minimally biscuity, malty basis almost without residual sweetness. Watery texture, minimally dry, even less astringent palate, fine, soft carbonation. Very nice composition, very refreshing - good!

Draft @ Fira del Poblenou, BCN - 06 juillet 2019. Citra version. Dorée, col blanc. Arôme offre un bouquet plaisant avec le côté sour prêtant une effluve de citron vert, malt pils en rétro, léger grains en sus. Palais est léger, finement aigrelet laissant passer les notes fruitées / agrumes du Citra, citron vert, fine acidité plus le côté malt pils qui adouci le tout. Léger, crisp et rafraichissante pour la chaleur de ce festival.
