Growing up as one of nine children in the woods of Buckingham, Fl, John Ashley knew that chicken-hearted men are apt to be forgotten. He soon represented the resistance against the system, crippling wealthy bankers and big city distilleries that undermined local moonshiners. the high powered but smooth imperial reminds us that sometimes you have to ignore the rules and make a statement.

12oz can de Total Wine, Tampa. Orange, col fin blanc-cassé. Arôme big bold US citrus, fruité tropical et agrumes, retrouve une impression de pelure d'orange, petit rétro sucre résiduel sur ces 9% avec un léger rétro caramélisé. Fleuri en rétro. Palais met de suite l'accent sur les 9%, caractère sec avec un effet rappelant le cèdre boisé, agrumes en complément surtout sur des notes de pamplemousse. Petite note épicée, caramel malt sur la fin. Note huileuse et alpha acide des houblons, grains rajoutent une fine épaisseur de fin de bouche.

Sample at the tap room. Clear orange color with a medium foamy off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, pine and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of resiny hops, fruit and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a short piney hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
