We like many others love to indulge ourselves with chocolate and beer. So we decided to combine our two guilty pleasures and brew for you this chocolate porter. To perfect the combination, we went on a search and found Kilbeggan handmade chocolate, a small artisanal chocolate maker here in Ireland. They only use the finest cocoa nibs which we add to our porter. The result is a rich, earthy and deep chocolate flavour to satisfy your cravings! Aromas of roasted malts, with chocolate and Mocha line up the perfect blend for you to indulge on.

Draught at ATG. Black with a cream head. Aroma of milky malt. Flavour is creamy milk chocolate, roast nuts, bitter chocolate finish.

44cl can, de Drink Store, Dublin. BB 10/2018, lot# 1753/54. Brune, épais effervescent blanc-cassé retombant très vite. Arôme offre un bouquet grillé finement café. En rétro, léger effet rappelant le bacon avec une petite pointe de fumé - chocolaté et un effet de fruit noir. Palais est léger oscillant entre malt dominant et un léger fini houblonné citronné. L'effervescence relève l'impression d'amertume, le tout sur un côté légèrement collant sur les lèvres. Malté sur des notes de chocolat. Amertume perdure sur la fin et apporte son effet herbacé et citronné.

Very dark brown, frothy large beige head, light lacing
Aroma - Soft roasted malts, soft dark chocolate
Taste of fairly rich dark malts, quite roasty, dab of burnt toast, hint of mocha as well
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, good rich texture, smooth, quite sweet dark malts. Finish of rich dark malts, soft dark chocolate
Overall - Decent porter, nice
