There is no other beer like Timmermans Tradition Blanche Lambicus anywhere in the world because it is the only white lambic beer. By adding spices such as coriander and dried orange zest, a light, fruity beer is created. It is subtly spicy and deliberately made cloudy. Should ideally be drunk from an authentic stoneware pot.

Bottle 0.375l. Quite clear, straw colored. AROMA- sour, fermented, light apple and citrusy notes, vinous. FLAVOR- slightly sweet and bitter, pleasantly sour, white wine, apple must, touch of citrus- lemon, lime. Light to medium bodied, very well balanced.

35 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Gall&Gall Houten. Clear golden with a white head. Fruity lambiek aroma with some orange. Bitter taste with a sour touch. Dry finish. Very nice combination of a lambiek and a witbier. This way I even like witbier.

On tap at ’De Paas’. Slightly hazy, straw yellow with a thin, frothy, white head. Sweetish, sourish-fruity aroma of lemon, gooseberry, pineapple and some wheat. Sweetish, sourish-fruity taste of lemon, pineapple, gooseberry and some wheat, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little tart finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent and a little astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not bad!

F: white, thin, not long lasting. C: yellowish, hazy, non-transparent. A: malt, apple, woody, vinegar, coriander, hint of orange peels. T: malty, but very sour tarty onset, wheat, vinegar, apple, peach, light woody, coriander, orange, light body, lively carbonation, refreshing but not complex, 375ml bottle from Carrefour in Brussels.

Bottle at home. Hazy bright yellow with white head, lot of active bubbling in the glass. Sour dough, grass, grapes, soapy dish water, lot of lemon, fresh coriander. Light sour, light minerallike saltiness, sweet underneath. Bottle at home. Slight hazy yellow golden with medium short lasting white head. Lemon, coriander, sour grapes, some unripe fruits, sweet cake dough, hay, salmiak (though not salty, maybe more a spicy rubber?), some other spices, light condensed milk. Taste is medium sour and almost medium sweet. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. I expected his to be a horrible artificial mess, but it’s actually quite drinkable and interesting.
