By using a load of American hops, this beer has a deliciously sweet citrus aroma. You will also find this in the taste, after which it will disappear bitterly. Caramel accompanies the taste and brings balance, from start to finish.

Aroma of malt, caramel, ripe fruits, dried apricot, some grapefruit, hops. Flavour is malty caramel, rather sweet but not disturbingly so, with a bittersweet finish. Body is nice and thick, full mouthfeel. Though the sweetness was right there on the edge for me, I enjoyed this one.

Bottle. Murky brown color. Ripe apricot and grassy in the aroma. Some yeasty notes. Full bodied. Low on carbon. Grassy herbal flavor with dried apricot and citrus. Hint of peppermint. Nice!

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Malty caramel aroma with some herbal notes. Taste is sweet and weird. Reminding a bit of dates, that somewhat dusty sweetness. Creamy mouthfeel. I ought to like it, given my preferences, but somehow I don't.

50cl bottle at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours hazy light amber with very fine white foam. Aroma is intensely aromatic. Body is dense with moderate carbonation. Taste is intensely bitter, though with a notable body of malt behind. Finish is long and bitter.

Bottle, 0.33l. 9.4% ABV. Hazy brown/red pour, thin frothy off-white layer on top. Some lacing. Intensely sweet nose, loads of caramel and candy notes, honey, herbal liquor. Medium body, soft carbonation. Thick and oily texture, creamy mouthfeel. Starts off sweet, going into bitter aftertaste. Aroma is heavily malty. Loaded with caramel, toffee and candy. Molasses. Brown sugar. Herbal liquor. Sweetness hides the alcohol somewhat, however it's still nicely warming. Some spicy, peppery notes. Vague honey. Finishes bitter, medium lasting, slight touch of alcohol. Overall, a bit on the sweet side this one. Not really fond of that, to be honest... And worthy of notice, this sample wasn't really fresh. Oh well.

Bottled, thanks heavy! Red-amber body with an off white head, tiny but lasting. Malty, slightly oxidized aroma, orange, a touch of pine, dusty and a bit sticky. Eh. Taste... nice orange candy, full maltiness, light dusty notes, scant to no bitterness. Well, not a bad beer at all, but hardly one of my favorites.

Red brown colour with lasting fluffy head. Aroma has lots of piney, resinous hop. A little bit of caramel too. Flavour is intense. Very bitter and sweet. Somewhat stewed and syrupy feeling.
