50cl bottle pours with a dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin dark tan head. The aroma offers up dusty malt balls, chocolate, some spicy rye, and a dash of booze at the end of the draw. The taste delivers smooth soft malts, some chocolate malts, a dash of dark roasted malts and earthy coffee maltiness. Solid.

Bottle to tulip glass. Pours very deep brown with large, brown head that fades moderately quickly. Slight roast and cocoa, the vanilla plays more into the flavor than the aroma.

Pint bottle via trade in Brussels, thanks to Beercation, BB 13/01/2017, batch# F16223.

Bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark brn/blk with a tan head. Aroma of dark malt with a rye spice note. Vanilla? Maybe. Med body or better. Flavor is dark malt, rye, could be coffee and/or chocolate, and I think vanilla. It’s balanced between dry and bitter, and the spice aspect is a really good thing here.
