Harrie is an accessible blond beer characterized by saison yeast. The daring use of different spices; szechuan pepper, mustard seed, juniper, and timut pepper give a funky twist to this traditional beer. A spicy beer with refreshing citrus flavors and a dry aftertaste.

Bottle from Kent BF 2015 thanks to that great person who is Menno. Who also has one of the world’s best chuckles. Golden hazy, lasting ivory coloured head. Highly carbonated so it needed a bit of a swirl. Slightly herbal saison. Saison yeast aroma, as I say it’s got a herbal flavour in the mouth along with a bit more saison yeast and then some hop on the finish which is floral hop. Dryness on the lasting finish. Interesting saison. Quite light and drinkable. Refreshing and great as a first beer of the day.

02.06.2015, tap @ Apollon:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry and spiced, weeds, flowers, broth, hay, yeast, cloves, light malts, thyme, cardamom, bark. Taste is kind of harsh spiced, weeds, flowers, yeast, hay, bark, minerals, light malts, cloves, grass, paper. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly dry harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough, but not really my cup of tea...

Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation, mild dry aftertaste, herbal and medicinal notes, ginger and citrus notes, really nice Saison.

On tap at Patricks. An golden colored, lightly unclear beer with a fingerthick white head leaving curtains. It’s spiced on the nose, ginger and cardamom, with fruityness and some yeasty hints. Pale malts. There’s a decent bitterness in the flavor, along with the fruityness and spice hints known from the aroma. It’s full- to medium-bodied, semi-dry and a bit heavy on the carbonation. Long finish. A decent beer, but not very saison-ish I think. 150502
